As a result of the shelling in the Donetsk region, six people were killed and 12 were injured

On the past day, July 2, Russian occupiers attacked 16 settlements in Donetsk region. The cities of Dobropillia, Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Lyman, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Rodynske, Slovyansk, the village of Novohryhorivka, and the villages of Nekremen, Ozerne, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Raiske, Starovarvarivka, and Pleshchiivka were under enemy fire.

Pokrovsk District

On the morning of July 2, the Pokrovsk community was subjected to bomb and drone attacks. Around 3:40, the Russians shelled Rodynske, causing a fire in a garage cooperative. About 10 garages burned down.

At 05:00, the enemy dropped a FAB-250 aerial bomb with a UMPC on the eastern part of Pokrovsk, which resulted in damage to a two-story apartment building. At 08:20, two workers of the "Hospodar" utility company were injured by an FPV drone strike on the road section between Pokrovsk and Rodynske. The injured were taken to Dobropillia hospital.

At 09:20, the Russians shelled the "Shakhtarskyi" neighborhood in Pokrovsk, injuring a civilian. At 09:30, Russian troops attacked the private sector in the central part of Pokrovsk, resulting in the death of two men aged 85 and approximately 50 years.

Dobropillia was attacked by six "Geran-2" UAVs, resulting in damage to an enterprise.

Kramatorsk District

In Raiyske of the Druzhkivka community, the Russians struck with five "Geran-2" UAVs, killing three civilians and injuring three more. Eleven private houses and two cars were damaged.

In Kostyantynivka, occupiers attacked a civilian car with an FPV drone and also hit the city with three "GAB-250" bombs and "Smerch" MRLs. Five people were injured, and three apartment buildings, three stores, ten retail kiosks, and a car were damaged.

The enemy directed five "Geran-2" UAVs at Kramatorsk, damaging three private houses and an educational institution. Another five drones hit Sloviansk, damaging three private houses, an enterprise, a driving school, a post office, and thirteen cars. In Rai-Oleksandrivka, two private houses were damaged.

In Lyman, drones damaged five private houses, in Ozerne of the Lyman community – one house, and in Starovarvarivka of the Oleksandrivka community – a private house, garage, and an outbuilding.

In Druzhkivka, two "Geran-2" UAVs damaged a non-residential building, four civilian cars, and a tractor. In Novohryhorivka of the Druzhkivka community – one private house was damaged.

Nighttime Shelling of Donetsk Region

Additionally, that night, Russia struck the village of Vesele Pole in the Bilozersk community with two "Geran-2" UAVs, resulting in one death and one injury, and damage to a private house and garage.

Three drones attacked Kramatorsk, damaging an enterprise and an administrative building. The attack of five drones caused destruction in Sviatohirsk.
