Ukraine has conducted 8 large-scale prisoner exchanges since June — Zelenskyy

Since the beginning of June, Ukraine has conducted eight phases of large-scale prisoner exchanges, which have managed to bring hundreds of Ukrainians back home.

This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his address on July 6.

According to the head of state, each phase was the result of complex and meticulous work by many specialists who are engaged in the daily return of prisoners.

“We are working to ensure that each of our defenders, who has been captured, returns home as soon as possible,” Zelenskyy emphasized.

He also thanked everyone involved in the organization of exchanges, including the Coordination Headquarters on the Treatment of Prisoners of War, intelligence, security forces, and international partners who assist in the negotiations.

The President urged citizens to keep faith and not forget about those who are still in captivity.
