In the Sumy region, due to new shelling, two more civilians were killed, - the prosecutor’s office
In the Khotin community in the Sumy region today, July 7th, the bodies of two men who died as a result of enemy shelling were found.
This was reported by the Sumy prosecutor’s office on Telegram.
"According to the investigation, on the morning of July 7, 2025, in the Khotin community of the Sumy district, law enforcement officers found the bodies of two deceased men, aged 48 and 60, due to enemy shelling," the statement reads.
Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the attack. A pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the commission of war crimes that resulted in the death of people (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Regarding those who died the day before, on July 6th, in the Sumy community, the prosecutor’s office clarified that the victims of the occupiers’ attack were men aged 57 and 77. Around 4:00 PM, the enemy attacked the homes of peaceful residents, reportedly using three drones.
