The occupiers killed a one-year-old boy in Kherson region with a drone strike

On July 9, during the day, the terrorist army of Russia launched another attack on the right bank of the Kherson region. As a result of the attack, the Russians killed a one-year-old boy in the village of Pravdyne.

The occupiers attacked the child and an elderly woman with a drone. The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported this in Telegram.

According to the Regional Military Administration, Russian terrorists took another child’s life in the village of Pravdyne in the Bilozerka community. The enemy attacked peaceful residents with a drone while they were in the yard of their house.

Prokudin noted that the child died on the spot from the injuries received. A team of medics provided assistance to a 64-year-old local resident. The woman was diagnosed with a concussion, explosive, and closed cranial injury. The victim refused hospitalization.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that the Russian occupiers attacked a civilian facility using an unmanned aerial vehicle. The explosive device hit the yard where the one-year-old boy was present.

Under the procedural leadership of the Oleshky District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched for breaking the laws and customs of war, resulting in a person’s death (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Prosecutors, along with investigators, continue to document war crimes committed by the Russian military in the territory of the Kherson region.
