In Kyiv, the number of victims has increased as a result of a massive combined attack. Hundreds of rescuers and law enforcement officers have been involved in mitigating the consequences.

This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko.

As of now, as noted by the head of the ministry, there are 19 known victims due to the attack.

In total, the following have been involved in addressing the consequences in Kyiv:

  • 400 rescuers from the State Emergency Service (SES);
  • 300 law enforcement officers.

"Engineering and robotic equipment are engaged, climbing groups are working. Mine clearance units are also involved to ensure there is no threat to people," Klymenko reported.

Shevchenkivskyi District

Consequence mitigation is also ongoing in the Shevchenkivskyi district, where the enemy struck residential infrastructure. Currently, about 30 investigative-operational groups are working here to document the damages.
