Military: The enemy is trying to fill Chasiv Yar with their infantry

In the Kramatorsk direction, in the area of Chasiv Yar, the situation remains unchanged: units of the Russian 98th Airborne Division are attempting to attack the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine daily.

This was reported by Andriy Polukhin, a representative of the press service of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, on the air of "Army TV".

According to him, there have not been any attacks using motorcycles or quad bikes for a long time. The enemy currently uses exclusively small infantry groups, which they sometimes try to support with mechanized equipment, particularly BMDs — airborne combat vehicles. On the eve, such an attack was repelled, destroying one BMD and 6 assaulters along with it.

«The enemy is trying to fill Chasiv Yar with their infantry. However, they are not very successful at this, as there are only a few points along the Siverskyi Donets-Donbas canal line where it is safe to cross with equipment, and the enemy usually wants to involve more infantry precisely with equipment. Our guys are working from the air with drones and from the ground. In this way, the enemy harms itself more than achieves success,» noted the representative of the press service of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo.
