The SBI confirmed the search of the deceased pilot "Dzhus" apartment, which was temporarily occupied by Shabunin
The State Bureau of Investigation confirmed that on July 11, a search was conducted in the apartment of deceased military pilot Andriy Pilshchykov, known as "Dzhus."
As explained by SBI spokeswoman Tetyana Sapyan, this search was related to a criminal case against Vitaliy Shabunin, head of the Anti-Corruption Center.
According to Sapyan, the pilot and his family have no connection to the case - Shabunin was only temporarily residing in this apartment until the morning of July 10, that is, just before he was officially charged.
"On this day, four searches were conducted at places of Shabunin’s actual or temporary residence. All investigative actions were carried out in strict accordance with current legislation, which is confirmed by appropriate court decisions," the SBI representative stated.
Let us recall that it was previously reported that Shabunin is allegedly being accused of obstructing the official activities of an SBI employee. He himself called the case politically motivated and linked to his anti-corruption activities.
