Shooting at the training ground: Mobilized soldier shot dead two sergeants in the Chernihiv region, - media

In the Chernihiv region, a cadet opened fire on sergeants: two dead.

This was reported by former MP Mosiychuk.

A cadet from military unit A3321, soldier Koshel B.Ye., for reasons not yet determined, took an AKM-74 rifle, made it combat-ready, and opened fire on his comrades. The targets were Senior Sergeant Kryshtal D.O., Chief Sergeant Rekunenko O.L., and Senior Sergeant Skrypka D.O.

As a result of the shooting, Sergeants Kryshtal and Rekunenko suffered multiple penetrating gunshot wounds and died on the spot. According to witnesses, the cadet administered double-tap shots to each of them. The third serviceman — Sergeant Skrypka — was also shot at, but all four bullets hit his bulletproof vest, saving his life. He did not sustain any bodily injuries.

The incident occurred just as the servicemen were approaching the firing line in pairs. Cadet Koshel suddenly turned 180 degrees and opened fire on his instructors’ backs. One of the deceased was seeing this cadet for the first time, as he had only come to help conduct the training.
