In 2025, up to 90% of strikes on energy infrastructure were carried out by drones, — Klymenko

Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko stated that in 2025, about 90% of attacks on energy facilities were carried out using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, more than 700 attacks on the country’s energy infrastructure facilities have been recorded.

Klymenko emphasized the change in enemy tactics: now the overwhelming majority of strikes are carried out by drones, which complicates the work of air defence and the response of emergency services.
