The occupiers launched a massive strike on Odesa: fresh footage of the aftermath has emerged
The aggressor state Russia carried out a drone attack on Odesa on the night of July 24. As a result of the enemy shelling, a major fire broke out at the Priyoz market, and other civilian infrastructure was also damaged.
This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Kiper. The State Emergency Service showed footage of the destruction and fire suppression.
As of 07:30, rescuers extinguished the fire in a two-story building and trade pavilions on the territory of the "Pryvoz" market.

"Destroyed apartments, injuries to people, fires: Odesa experienced another hellish night. Russians massively attacked the city with strike drones," noted the SES.
According to updated data from the agency, a residential nine-story building in Odesa was destroyed – residents of apartments from the fifth to eighth floors were left homeless. Apartments on the fifth and sixth floors of one of the entrances were also on fire.

Rescuers warned of the threat of structural collapse. They evacuated 33 residents and rescued five more who were trapped in their apartments.

Canine units worked at the site – four-legged rescuers searched for possible victims.

A resilience point of the SES was deployed near the building. Psychologists from the SES and National Police worked with the people. Efforts continued to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attack.

Rescuers also worked at other locations where fires broke out in a private house and at a gas station.

As of 09:00, a person continued to be searched for under the rubble of the nine-story building in Odesa.

Russians spread fakes about the strike on Odesa
The Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security noted that Russian Z-channels are writing about the night attack of the Russian Federation on Ukraine on July 24. In particular, propagandists claimed that the Russian Armed Forces "delivered a massive strike on military facilities in Odesa."
In fact, the Russians attacked the city’s civilian infrastructure, which is evident in photos and videos.
"This is not the first strike on Odesa’s cultural heritage. The enemy continues to target the city and engages in information manipulation, covering up attacks on civilians with fakes about ’UAF facilities’, noted the SPRAVDI Telegram channel.
