Chairman of the Ternopil Regional Council Butkovskyi commented on the protest action: "Only about 10 paid students showed up"

The head of the Ternopil Regional Council, Bohdan Butkovskyi, expressed his opinion regarding the protest in Ternopil, which took place on the evening of July 22. At that time, the people of Ternopil protested against the adoption by members of parliament of draft law No. 12414 concerning the activities of NABU and SAPO.

— Regarding the vote in the Verkhovna Rada, I do not want to comment. I have comments regarding the fact that people are now being called to the Maidans, to revolutions, to change the government during the war. This is a reaction to this.

— And what about what happened near the regional council?

— What happened near the regional council? Some 10 paid students came out. I don’t like that. I am against using children during the war. If there were people who can volunteer or fight, well, I have a question as to why they are not defending Ukraine in this way?

— And why do you speak about them being paid? Do you have any evidence of this?

— Okay, can I give a personal opinion regarding what is said that there is a lot of "Russian peace" now in NABU and SAPO? Look, I have no thoughts on this. I do not possess such data. I am only reflecting on the fact that they want to carry out a coup in the country, — said Bohdan Butkovskyi.
