Details have emerged regarding the high-profile arrest of "Servant of the People" Kuznyetsov: the margin on drones reached 30%
NABU arrested a member of parliament, the former head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, and businessman Vladyslav Marchenko in a case concerning corruption related to drones. The investigation claims they profited from the procurement of UAVs and electronic warfare systems with a margin of up to 30%.
This was reported by Informator.
NABU detectives, together with the SAPO, detained member of the "Servant of the People" party Oleksiy Kuznyetsov, former head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration and current head of Mukachevo District State Administration Serhiy Haidai, as well as businessman Vladyslav Marchenko, the former leader of the Zaporizhzhya branch of "Samopomich". According to the investigation, they are involved in a large-scale corruption scheme in state procurement of UAVs and electronic warfare systems. The Anti-Corruption Bureau stated that the scheme involved signing state contracts at inflated prices with "necessary" suppliers.

The identities of all the suspects have been confirmed by "Dzerkalo Tyzhnya" sources. The Center for Combating Corruption added that the profit margin was up to 30%, and the "excess" was returned to officials as bribes. Oleksiy Kuznetsov, who was detained today, has repeatedly criticized independent anti-corruption bodies and voted for bills that limited their activities. Meanwhile, the leader of the "Servant of the People" faction, David Arakhamia, has already announced the suspension of Kuznyetsov’s membership in the faction until the investigation is completed.
"During the investigation, Oleksiy Kuznyetsov’s membership in the faction will be suspended. We await the judicial review of this case in due time. Those guilty of corruption offenses must face just punishment, regardless of their status or positions," Arakhamia wrote in his Telegram channel.

NABU arrest
The Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, also commented on the arrest of the suspects, particularly National Guard service members involved in the same case. He announced an immediate internal investigation and the creation of a new Department for Service Activity Control within the National Guard.
"This is proof that there can be no untouchables among lawbreakers," emphasized Klymenko.
The day before, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the uncovering of a corruption scheme involving members of parliament, local officials, and representatives of law enforcement bodies. He called it "an example of effective interaction between state institutions in fighting corruption during wartime."
