In Kyiv, a man blew up an apartment during a police visit — there are casualties

This is reported by Kyiv police.

In the Darnytskyi district of the capital, a crime suspect released gas and blew up an apartment during a police visit.

As a result of the explosion, a police officer was injured. The perpetrator was also hurt.

“Thanks to the coordinated and professional actions of the law enforcement officers, there are no more casualties, the police timely evacuated the residents from the building”, – the police reported.

The injured officer is receiving the necessary medical assistance.

The suspect was detained at the scene.
