The invaders attacked Nikopol: there is damage to civilian infrastructure, two people were injured

During the day of August 9, 2025, Russian forces shelled the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

This was reported in the Telegram channel by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.

As noted, in the Nikopol region throughout the day, the city of Nikopol, Myrove, Pokrovsk, Marhanets, and Chervonohryhorivka communities suffered from enemy strikes. The aggressor used FPV drones and also shelled with artillery.

"A 46-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman were injured. They were hospitalized," Lysak specified.

"Fires broke out. The fire destroyed 2 private houses and 3 utility buildings. Another 6 houses and 2 utility buildings in the area were damaged. The power line was affected," added the military administration.

It is also noted that the Synelnykove district was attacked by enemy UAVs and missiles. Several fires also occurred there. An apartment building and a car were damaged.

"In the Zelenodolsk community in the Kryvyi Rih area, a drone strike ignited dry grass," the statement said.
