At night, Russia attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones: Air Defence Forces destroyed 34 targets
On the night of August 13, Russia once again launched an air attack on Ukraine: the enemy used 51 units of air assault weapons. Air defence forces neutralized two ballistic missiles and 32 UAVs.
Seventeen drone hits were recorded. Details were reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Another night of Russian air terror began with the first launches of air assault weapons by Russian forces around 21:00 on August 12.
In total, the enemy attacked with 49 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and various types of decoy drones from the directions of Russian Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Shatalovo, as well as 2 ballistic missiles "Iskander-M/KN-23" from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
The drones were directed at Donetsk, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions, while the enemy attacked Poltava region with missiles.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defence systems shot down/suppressed 34 targets: 2 ballistic missiles "Iskander-M/KN-23" and 32 enemy UAVs of the Shahed type and various types of decoy drones in the northern and eastern parts of the country.
Seventeen UAV hits were recorded at 15 locations.
