In Kharkiv, a policeman abducted a comrade from the Military Medical Commission, simulating an arrest

In Kharkiv, a verdict was issued against a local police officer who helped his friend avoid undergoing a military medical commission (MMC) examination.

The incident occurred on August 17, 2024, when the law enforcement officer, wearing a uniform, entered the office where his friend was being examined and told the medical staff that he was detaining him for fraud.

According to the verdict of the Industrial District Court, the policeman abused his official position to remove the military conscript from the MMC, allegedly for investigative actions.

The accused admitted his guilt. The court sentenced him to five years in prison but replaced the actual term with a probationary period.
