Russia is strengthening positions in the direction of Kostyantynivka and trying to surround Kleban-Byk

The Russian army is fortifying in Katerynivka and Shcherbynivka in the direction of Kostyantynivka and is attempting to encircle Kleban-Byk.

This was reported by a Ukrainian soldier with the call sign «Muchnyi».

He describes the situation in the settlements that are at the epicenter of hostilities in this direction.

Katerynivka: the Russian army is consolidating in most of the village to accumulate resources for a further strike on Kleban-Byk. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are «working» on them, but the actions of Russian artillery and aviation complicate the situation, allowing the Russian army to quickly occupy advantageous positions.

Kleban-Byk: the settlement is at the center of the confrontation, with the Russian army attempting to bypass it from various sides to cut off communication and encircle the village in a semicircle. Constant assaults are being carried out using drones, aviation, and heavy artillery.

Shcherbynivka: the Russians have entrenched in the village but not yet fully, systematically building up forces and deploying units with UAVs for active logistics efforts.

Oleksandro-Shultyne: the village is under the fire control of the Russian army, and there are fights for holding positions. The western part remains with the Armed Forces of Ukraine for now, while the rest is held by the Russians. The settlement is currently in a precarious state.

Bila Hora: the Russians are expanding their control zone 2 km deeper into the northern part of the village.
