Zelenskyy: Trump wants to support Ukraine "until the very end"

Zelenskyy stated that, according to him, Trump wishes to support Ukraine «until the very end».

In an interview with Fox News, he was read a message from Trump in which the possibility of Ukraine regaining all its territory with the support of Europe and NATO was discussed.

«President Trump expressed a more positive stance on this issue and showed an intention to support Ukraine until the end. I am pleased to hear signals that Trump and America are with us until the war is over», — Zelenskyy noted.

However, in the quoted message, Trump did not mention his personal intention «to support Ukraine until the end». Moreover, he did not speak about supporting Ukraine at all. Trump wrote that Ukraine would receive support from Europe, and the USA is ready to supply weapons to NATO, which can then use these weapons at its discretion.

In other words, this refers to the existing practice in which NATO countries purchase weapons from the USA and then transfer them to Ukraine. There is no mention of support for Ukraine (i.e., the free supply of weapons, as was the case under Biden) in this plan.
