Scandalous blogger Sofiya Stuzhuk, who fled abroad after the start of the full-scale war, officially appealed to law enforcement authorities after being notified of suspicion in absentia. The prosecutor’s office stated that the internet personality evaded paying a large amount of taxes, though she herself denies this information.

Moreover, as the influencer stated, she considers the appearance of materials with such accusations to be an "attack" by "interested parties." She reported this on her personal Telegram channel.

"This video is my official statement regarding the information being spread about me in the Ukrainian media space. I suddenly learned from the media about a criminal case due to the non-payment of a large sum of taxes. I declare that I have not received any official notification of ’suspicion,’" the blogger said.

According to Sofiya Stuzhuk, when she lived in Ukraine, she conducted activities as a sole proprietor of the third group from 2018 to 2022. She emphasized that she paid taxes in full, so there were allegedly never any complaints from fiscal authorities. As for 2023, the blogger stated that her sole proprietorship was officially closed, which is impossible without submitting reports and settling debt obligations.

In addition, Sofiya Stuzhuk complained that after leaving Ukraine in the spring of 2022, her accounts were "illegally blocked," and she is unable to use the "Diya" app. According to the blogger, this physically prevents her from conducting any activities through the Ukrainian banking system.

"I have never received any claims regarding non-payment of taxes during my time outside Ukraine. That is why the appearance of such materials now, after years of normal work without questions or complaints, looks very strange," the influencer noted.

As Stuzhuk revealed, the claims against her emerged during a period of "political turbulence," so she is convinced that certain ill-wishers are involved: "I perceive these publications as a politicized media attack and another attempt to discredit me by interested parties."

As reported by the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, from 2018 to 2022, Sofiya Stuzhuk received an income of over 58 million hryvnias, but never paid the required taxes. As a result, Ukraine’s budget lost 10.5 million hryvnias in income tax and nearly 900 thousand hryvnias in military tax.

Based on this data, the blogger was notified of suspicion in absentia under Part 3 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – intentional tax evasion on an especially large scale.

Sofiya Stuzhuk faced sharp criticism from Ukrainians as early as February 16, 2022. At that time, she boasted footage of her vacation in the United Arab Emirates, where she went shopping with a friend. The blogger recorded a video, captioning it: "Caution, Russians in Dubai" (in the original language).

In the first days of the full-scale war, Stuzhuk covered the consequences of the aggressor country’s actions. The internet personality published footage of the Russian attack visible from her window on her Instagram and wrote: "All of Ukraine hasn’t slept for a day. I don’t understand why they are capturing our home, our country, our capital. We just live here peacefully. We don’t bother anyone."

However, the blogger soon stopped such "patriotic" activity online. After moving to Latvia, Sofiya Stuzhuk completely ceased mentioning the war in the public space. She justified her silence by saying she is not knowledgeable in politics and thought everyone already knew about Putin’s aggression.

It is worth noting that the blogger has still not named Russia as responsible for starting the full-scale war. One of Stuzhuk’s followers asked her, "Who is she for: Russia or Ukraine?" to which the influencer responded that she is for "a peaceful sky overhead" and "for there to be no war."

At one point, the internet personality even justified the terrorist enemy attack on Kyiv. Instead of expressing sympathy for her fellow citizens, she stated that Ukrainians themselves are to blame for the shelling because they "rejoice in others’ destruction." At that time, Stuzhuk was referring to the explosions on the illegally built Crimean Bridge.
