Ukraine has completed the legislative screening for EU accession, – Kos

Ukraine and the EU have completed the screening of Ukrainian legislation for accession negotiations to the European Union.

This was announced on the X network by the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos.

On Monday, Kos arrived in Ukraine for a three-day visit "to reaffirm the EU’s support for the country’s European path and to mark the completion of the screening process for EU accession."

On Tuesday, September 30, she stated that this day "marks an important step on Ukraine’s path to the EU."

"Under the most challenging conditions, Ukraine has completed the screening process of all its legislation at a record pace, laying the foundation for its European future," – the Commissioner emphasized.

In this regard, Kos stressed the need to "maintain the momentum of reforms."
