The incident occurred in winter, and now the court has sentenced him to a suspended sentence.

Initially, the man rammed a police car, then doused himself and the officer with gasoline. He tried to set himself on fire, but the police officer caught fire. The officer suffered burns on his fingers.

After that, he drove away, but another patrol tried to detain him again. He resisted them with a metal chain but was eventually apprehended.

In court, he claimed that he intended to commit an act of self-immolation and did not plan to harm the police officers. He was sentenced to three years in prison with a suspended sentence of 1 year and 7 months.
