Critical situation in Pokrovsk: Russian troops try to surround the city

The situation in the Pokrovsk area is becoming critical again.

This was reported on Facebook by Ukrainian serviceman Roman Kondratyuk.

According to his information, Russian forces have once again captured Kotliare and Udachne and are advancing towards the "Pokrovsk" mine administration.

Kondratyuk noted that the enemy is infiltrating the mine in small groups, but has not yet been able to establish a foothold. In the southern part of Pokrovsk, street fighting continues — Russians are occupying individual high-rise buildings, but, as he reports, Ukrainian forces are driving them out.

He added that the flank in Rodynske continues to hold, although the situation remains extremely difficult. According to the serviceman, if the enemy captures the mine north of Udachne, they will gain the opportunity to advance to Hryshyne and cut off the Pavlohrad highway, which would effectively create an operational encirclement of Pokrovsk.
