Mobilized individuals are fleeing from training centers due to fear of the unknown, - Shvayka

Most mobilized individuals flee to the AWOL status even from training centers due to fear of the unknown.

This was stated by Ihor Shvaika, Deputy Head of the Territorial Defence Forces Recruitment Center.

He emphasized that people need to be explained what awaits them in the Armed Forces: from the training center and adaptation period to the provision of equipment and food, as well as how their families will be taken care of in case of injury, disappearance, or death. The lack of this information pushes them to break the law.
