Russians conducted 100 shelling attacks on 37 settlements in Sumy region over the past day

As a result of Russian shelling of the Sumy region, there are casualties among civilians. 

As reported on the Telegram channel of the Regional State Administration, two 64-year-old men sought medical assistance after being injured on November 1 in the Myropil community due to an FPV drone strike.

During the day, from the morning of November 3 to the morning of November 4, 2025, Russian forces carried out 100 shelling attacks on 37 settlements in 15 territorial communities of the region.

The highest number of shelling incidents was recorded in the Sumy, Shostka, and Konotop districts.

The following communities’ settlements were under enemy attack:

• Myropil
• Yunakivka
• Khotin
• Bilopillya
• Krasnopillya 
• Esman
• Shalyhyne
• Druzhba
• Seredyna-Buda
• Boromlya
• Velyka Pysarivka
• Putyvl
• Popivka
• Novosloboda.

The enemy actively used guided aerial bombs, UAVs, VOG drops from UAVs, and MLRS: 

• up to 10 strikes with guided aerial bombs (GAB);
• more than 10 UAV strikes;
• more than 20 VOG drops from UAVs;
• more than 10 MLRS strikes.

Additionally, the enemy carried out strikes with FPV drones on the territory of Sumy region.

Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed: 

• in the Boromlya community, non-residential premises and 3 private residential houses were damaged;
• in the Popivka community, a non-residential premise was damaged;
• in the Bilopillya community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;
• in the Shalyhyne community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;
• in the Krasnopillya community, a civilian infrastructure facility and a private residential house were damaged;
• in the Seredyna-Buda community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;
• in the Velyka Pysarivka community, a private residential house was damaged.

In addition, damage from previous shelling was recorded:

• in the Richky community, on November 2, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;
• in the Trostyanets community, on November 3, 1 private house was destroyed, and private houses, vehicles, and a civilian infrastructure facility were damaged;
• in the Popivka community, 8 private residential houses, a summer kitchen, and an outbuilding were damaged. 

During the day, 8 people were evacuated. The air raid alert in the region lasted for 19 hours and 24 minutes.
