Sanctions in action: Russia’s budget oil and gas revenues collapsed by 30% in October

Revenues of the Russian budget from the oil and gas sector decreased by 30% in October, reports the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.

The rate of decline is increasing every month.

The reasons are the drop in oil prices and US sanctions on «Rosneft» and «Lukoil». These companies account for half of all exports.

Also, due to US sanctions, Russia is losing significant markets in Asia.
