Radical measures of the radical Oleh Averyanov: beatings for hire

On August 14, 2018, in the courtyard of a residential building in Poznyaky, nothing foreshadowed a crime. Evening, an ordinary house, an ordinary yard, children’s playgrounds where mothers with children were present. And suddenly, in front of the eyes of the children and women, three athletes attacked a man from behind, one of them stunned him and they began to beat him brutally.

Beating on order

The target of the brutal attack was Oleksandr Lesyk. The instigator of the attack did not even try to hide - the attacker clearly and unequivocally conveyed "greetings from Oleh Averyanov." Possibly, the "greetings" could have led to even more serious consequences (since Oleksandr was seriously injured), but he was saved by the presence of his current wife, Yevheniia Averyanova, who raised an alarm, causing the attackers to flee.

Thus, a promising politician, member of the Lyashko Radical Party, former deputy minister, Oleh Averyanov, hires thugs to beat the husband of his ex-wife Yevheniia. He did not honorably challenge him to a duel, as nobles would have done in the past, but sent hired goons for money, which speaks of quite low moral qualities. In the past, such actions would have led to the deprivation of nobility and exclusion from society, but in our society, it is done by a promising politician. The Pryluky gang hires "gorillas" to settle matters and is already establishing its laws in the capital.

He accumulated malice for three years

Oleksandr Lesyk has long been a bother to Oleh Averyanov because he was one of the few who dared to go against the influential owner of the "Pozhmashyna" plant and contender for the deputy head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and testified about his illegal actions. Already in 2015, Lesyk took the side of Oleh Averyanov’s ex-wife, whom the latter decided not only to leave but also to leave with nothing. That is, Oleksandr’s entire guilt was that he did not allow the honor and dignity of the woman, who was Averyanov’s loyal wife and mother of his child, to be demeaned and trampled on.

The fragile woman found a protector when her ex-husband simply ordered the car to be stolen from his ex-wife, then forged documents on it. Later it turned out that on the eve of the theft all the property of the wife and family was "drained" to offshore companies and other companies controlled by Oleh Averyanov. And the "Pozhmashyna" plant went into another round of controlled bankruptcy to hide the traces of illegal privatization of the complex. The stakes are in tens of millions of US dollars, which for Pryluky and the Chernihiv region is a substantial capital dictating influence on the entire region. Naturally, protection from law enforcement agencies and the judiciary, loyal to its patron Oleh Averyanov, was meant to stifle all attempts by the ex-wife at the embryonic stage.

But money and connections do not decide everything, and Yevheniya Averyanova managed to enlist the support of some witnesses who did not hesitate to openly testify about Averyanov’s crimes and did not look at his omnipotence in Pryluky. Among them was Oleksandr Lesyk. Already in 2015, being a witness to how Yevheniya’s car, which her ex-husband had gifted to her, publicly declaring it, was "sold" at a car market in Kyiv without Yevheniia’s consent. It was he who helped call the police in Kyiv and provided testimony.

After Oleksandr Lesyk did not back down from his position, threats of reprisal rained down on him back in 2015. The Pryluky local police not only did not open a case of car theft but also initiated a criminal case against Lesyk. As there were no grounds, a scheme was invented – "evader" from demobilization. And since the case was sewn hurriedly (inconvenient witness), no one bothered to verify that Oleksandr was not evading the army. He indeed has a disability from an injury received in childhood while engaging in sports.

When this fact emerged, an enraged Oleh Averyanov and his "accomplices" from the police began calling Oleksandr with threats of physical violence. But then the situation gained momentum since Yevheniya managed to ensure that Kyiv paid attention to what was happening. Averyanov, then seeking the position of deputy head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, did not risk tarnishing his resume and history, limiting himself to verbal threats only then. But as it turned out, Oleh did not let go of the situation, accumulating malice for three years.

Averyanov’s personal army

Why did Oleh Averyanov decide to impose Pryluky order in Kyiv? Likely, the local princeling simply became insolent from impunity. The courts and the police are undergoing reorganization, and Averyanov, joining the Lyashko party, actively gains points as a "decisive person." Now his Pryluky team easily organizes the beating of a person in Kyiv.

Why wait three years? Well, firstly, only in 2018 did Oleh test the strength of "thugs" and organized groups for capturing enterprises to forcefully ensure a "new" order in enterprises.

In July 2018, Averyanov, together with his business partner and friend, People’s Deputy Valeriy Dubil, decided to seize a number of agricultural enterprises in the Chernihiv region, most of them located in the fiefdom of Oleh – Pryluky district.

Oleh Averyanov, since 2014, assuring the entire state, declaring his income and property, testifying in court, NABU, and law enforcement agencies, claims that he owns no companies (except for a few Ukrainian ones), especially offshore. And here it turns out that since 2012, he has owned as many as 3 offshore companies, which were allegedly owners of several agricultural enterprises in the Chernihiv region. And that’s not even all. Over $4 million was invested in such agricultural enterprises, of which, naturally, nothing is said in the declarations. No one cares about where the money came from, but it is a basis for appropriating companies, why not.

So during the capture of several agricultural enterprises in July 2018, Oleh Averyanov enlisted the support of law enforcement agencies and a group of so-called private security. Seeing how the latter worked, he obviously decided to implement those very threats against Lesyk. Well, since it works for capturing property, why not settle personal scores.

Secondly, the support of the GPU and SSU during the capture of enterprises under Oleh Averyanov’s schemes, who was clean of offshore companies until it became necessary, obviously gave a sensation that even in Kyiv he wouldn’t face consequences for such crimes.

So Mr. Averyanov got a taste, not feeling limits and not considering that laws are written for them. This does not even smell of feudalism or inquisition. It indicates that in their lust for profit and impunity, such "businessmen" are already not just stealing money, taking whatever they fancy. They will not stop at physical elimination of those who disagree and are ready to raise their heads and declare the crimes of such persons. And they don’t even hide it, openly declaring who "sends greetings." And such people are entering politics. The answer lies in a simple question: for the protection of our state’s citizens? The answer is unequivocal and clear. No. They go to create new lawlessness until the state and society stop them.
