An official of the Ministry of Culture was caught taking a bribe for assistance in the export of antiques
The official was detained when he received the second part of the bribe - $3,000, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported.
An official of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine was exposed, who demanded $3,300 for assistance in the unhindered export of antiques abroad. The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine reported this on Thursday, February 15.
“According to the investigation, the official demanded and received $3,300 from the man for influencing third parties to freely export antique edged weapons outside of Ukraine, outside customs control, without permits and inspection,” the report says.
The official was detained while receiving the second part of the bribe - $3,000.
During the searches, 10 thousand US dollars and 200 thousand UAH were confiscated from the defendant, the issue of seizing the seized funds is being decided, and a report of suspicion is being prepared and the issue of choosing a preventive measure is being decided.
