Operation ongoing: AFU Airborne Forces report active clearing of northern Pokrovsk from occupiers and elimination of 19 Russians

The operation to clear Pokrovsk of occupiers continues.

This was reported by the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Over the past few days, the Defence Forces have created conditions for the task of reinforcing troops in our area of responsibility with additional personnel and equipment.

Active clearing of the northern part of Pokrovsk from occupiers is ongoing. Thanks to coordinated efforts, the Defence Forces have halted the expansion of the Russian presence in this part of the city and prevented the enemy from cutting off the road connecting Pokrovsk and Rodynske.

In total, yesterday, November 2, Ukrainian military eliminated 19 Russians in the city.

To counter the enemy, we continue to deploy more assault units and special forces.

The situation in Myrnohrad is tense but not critical.

Enemy presence has been detected on the approaches to the southeastern outskirts of Myrnohrad. The total number of enemy personnel is small – about 10 individuals. Efforts to eliminate them are underway.

The defense of the city has already been reinforced with additional forces.

We have clear plans to counter the enemy and maintain close coordination to stabilize the situation," the statement from the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces reads.
