The government intends to introduce new taxes to finance defense needs

Thus, it is planned to introduce additional taxation in the form of:

▪️0.1% military tax on the profits of enterprises and income of individual entrepreneurs;
▪️1.5% – of the cost of precious metals;
▪️30% – of the cost of jewelry;
▪️10% - of the cost of movable property.
▪ The possibilities of additional taxation of real estate transactions and the introduction of an additional tax on some other transactions are being calculated.

At the same time, even the introduction of these new taxes is not able to cover all the additional needs of the budget, because the total fiscal effect from them will be about 40 billion hryvnia. Therefore, they are considering raising the rates of basic taxes, namely VAT and military duty (on personal income).
