Ministry of Defence reveals millions of unreasonable extra payments to military: they received "combat" in the forefront

“In fact, a number of military personnel were in permanent deployment points and performed functional duties not related to combat operations, but received “combat” additional pay,” the report informs.

As noted, these are the facts of the discovery of relevant orders in military units in Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi and Poltava regions.

The Ministry of Defence noted that a total of 186.6 million hryvnias worth of such violations were identified.

"According to the decisions of the Minister of Defence of Ukraine, all audit materials have been handed over to law enforcement agencies to establish the degree of guilt of officials and compensate for the damage caused to the state," the ministry said.
