Zelenskyy does not advise Kharkiv residents to return home from evacuation now

The president spoke about this during a joint press conference with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte in Kharkiv.

“As for the return of Kharkiv residents. You see, I don’t think that Kharkiv is so protected now that I can advise people to return. This is the choice of Kharkiv residents. As of today, this is the case,” Zelenskyy said.

The President noted that when Kharkiv has full protection from Russian attacks, people will receive response signals from him and the military.

“If we are powerfully protected, and I would even say: not if, but when this happens, there will definitely be signals from me and from our military,” Zelenskyy added.
