Law enforcement officers detained an FSB agent who brought Russian aerial bombs to the Sumy region
Law enforcement officers detained an FSB agent who was preparing a series of air strikes on the Sumy region, including the use of guided bombs. Now she faces life imprisonment .
This was reported by the press service of the SSU and the Office of the Prosecutor General .
“As a result of complex measures, an FSB agent was detained who was preparing a series of air strikes on the region, including the use of guided bombs,” the SSU notes.
It is reported that the main targets of the enemy were the defense positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in a 5-kilometer zone near the state border of Ukraine.
To complete the task, the defendant had to track down the locations of the Ukrainian troops, mark their coordinates on the map and send the appropriate “report” to the occupiers.
First of all, she tried to identify strongholds and establish the location of Defence Force units.
To do this, a Russian agent, under the guise of an ordinary citizen, walked around the border area and secretly recorded the “necessary” objects on the camera of her own phone.
“The SSU officers documented the criminal actions of the defendant and caught her in the act when she tried to make a new reconnaissance mission,” the Security Service reported.
At the same time, comprehensive measures were taken to provide personnel, weapons and ammunition to the Ukrainian troops in the region.
According to the investigation, the enemy accomplice turned out to be a resident of the village of Velyka Pysarivka, Akhtyrsky district, an ideological supporter of rashism. After the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, she expressed anti-Ukrainian narratives on Russian social networks.
Thus, she came to the attention of the FSB and was subsequently recruited by the enemy intelligence service.
At first, the traitor spied for the invaders in the border region where she lived. But after it was shelled by the Nazis, the woman, along with her fellow villagers, was evacuated to another settlement in the Sumy region.
There she registered as a migrant and planned, on instructions from the FSB, to further collect intelligence data from the Defence Forces.
Security Service investigators informed her of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code. She faces life imprisonment.
