On the night of Friday, 29 March, Ukrainian servicemen shot down five Russian shaheds over the Kherson region. The video of the fighters’ work was published by the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force Mykola Oleshchuk.

According to Oleshchuk, the suicide bombers were shot down by fighters of the Kherson Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade of the Air Force. In the video, you can hear the military say that the suicide bomber is flying above them and then shoot him down.

On the evening of March 28, an air raid alert was announced in a number of regions of Ukraine due to a new attack by suicide bombers. The drones moved in particular to the west of the country: explosions were heard in the Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

According to the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russia launched 99 targets on March 29, including 60 suicide bombers, Kinzhal, Iskander, Kh-59 and Kh-101/Kh-555 missiles. Air defence forces destroyed 84 targets - 58 suicide bombers and 26 missiles.

The Polish Armed Forces reported that the country was scrambling aircraft due to Russian shelling of the western regions of Ukraine with Daggers.

Ukrenergo announced damage to thermal power plants and hydroelectric power stations in the central and western regions. Energy Minister German Halushchenko clarified that the aggressor country attacked facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava and Cherkasy regions.

DTEK announced serious damage to three thermal power plants.

The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Police Department said that Russia attacked the critical infrastructure of the region, and several facilities were damaged. In total, air defence shot down 24 missiles and drones over the region, said the head of the Air Defence Forces, Serhiy Lysak. In the Kamenske district, where the enemy destroyed a dacha cooperative, there were five wounded. Among them is a five-year-old girl.

Russian occupiers also attacked the Chernivtsi region. During an air raid, air defense forces shot down enemy missiles over the region. Later, the head of the RMA, Ruslan Zaparanyuk, said that the occupiers attacked critical infrastructure facilities.
