Zelenskyy called on the Verkhovna Rada to adopt a law on mobilization in the coming days
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is communicating with deputies to ensure that the mobilization law is voted on by parliament in the coming days.
Zelenskyy announced this in an interview broadcast on the telethon.
"We are talking to parliament so that they vote on the relevant law in the coming days. This is very important. And it is not at all responsible - what they are doing...
With this law, the Russians managed to raise the issue that our people are not ready to continue defending the state.
And the West asks us - if you don’t want mobilization, the parliament doesn’t want to vote, and why do you need help? Why should we help?
Zelenskyy believes that this bill has divided society into two parts “into those who are for and those who are against, into military and civilian.” He called it a big mistake and that "MPs should not expect applause for their populism."
