Ukraine today attracted emergency supplies of electricity from Poland, Romania and Slovakia
The Ministry of Energy announced emergency supplies of electricity from other countries on the morning of May 12.
The Ministry of Energy reports this.
The Ministry of Energy noted that over the past 24 hours, the needs of consumers were covered by their own generation, commercial imports and emergency assistance from the power systems of Poland, Romania and Slovakia. Overall, the emergency supply amount was less than 3% of daily electricity consumption.
“Today, at the request of Ukraine, an emergency supply of electricity has already been carried out from Poland, Romania and Slovakia,” the department added.
Also today, Ukraine will provide emergency assistance at the request of Poland - it will receive surplus electricity from the power system of this country.
