The Security Service of Ukraine detained in Kyiv and reported suspicion to the father of the curator of the pro-Kremlin project “The Other Ukraine” Yuriy Zharkykh and screenwriter and artist Natalya Mykhailova.

In particular, law enforcement officers today exposed the “media office” of the political project “The Other Ukraine” in Kyiv. In Moscow, this project is led by the former presenter of Channel 112 Denys Zharkykh.
According to sources, the detained Natalya Mykhailova produced and distributed fake news that supposedly ordinary Ukrainians were waiting for the “Russian world.” At the same time, she discredited the Ukrainian authorities and the Defence Forces in every possible way.
“After Moscow’s approval, the custom stories were massively distributed by Medvedchukov’s information resources, in particular, the “Other Ukraine” website. For each video, the performer received a salary, which was personally given to her in Kyiv by the father of the project curator, Yuriy Zharkykh. All three were informed by the Security Service of suspicion of treason,” the sources note.

As reported, the Security Service exposed an underground cell of the pro-Kremlin political project “The Other Ukraine” in Kyiv. This organization in Russia was headed by Viktor Medvedchuk, accused of high treason, who coordinates his activities with the FSB.
In Kyiv, an intelligence group worked on the project, which was engaged in information sabotage against Ukraine. In particular, its participants distributed video content in which they discredited the Defence Forces and called on Ukrainians to lay down their arms and surrender to the occupiers. Members of the group set up an underground studio in their own house in the Kyiv region and produced custom animated videos, which they sent to their curator from the Russian Federation for approval.
