Iranian President and Foreign Minister died in plane crash - media

Along with the Iranian President, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, who accompanied Raisi on the trip, also died in the plane crash.

In addition to them, in the helicopter were the governor of the East Azarbaijan province of Iran, Malek Rahmati, the representative of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in the East Azarbaijan province, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Ale-Hashem, and several other unnamed persons. They all died.

A video of the wreckage of Iranian President Raisi’s helicopter was published by the Fars agency.

The photo from the crash site, which was previously distributed and then deleted by a number of Iranian resources, appears to be fake and was taken several years ago during another crash.
