Deputy Head of Odesa Regional Council Urbanskyi bought a luxury car for UAH 18 thousand

Deputy Chairman of the Odesa Regional Council, MP Oleksandr Urbanskyi, said that he had purchased an Audi SQ8 (2021) for UAH 18,000. The market price of the car is over $92,000, or more than UAH 3.7 million.

This is stated in his declaration for 2023.

In general, in last year’s declaration, he indicated only his assets and income, without specifying his wife’s property as it was in 2022. It is worth reminding that Urbanskyi filed for a fictitious divorce to avoid being mobilised to the Armed Forces.

Thus, Oleksandr Urbanskyi’s declaration for 2023 still includes real estate - a 486 sq m land plot in Sanzhiika, a 141 sq m residential building in the same village, and a 311.6 sq m apartment in Odesa.

In 2022, he also began to use a 25 sq m room in the village of Kamyantsi, Izmail district.

The politician indicated his salary received in the regional council - UAH 561,638, income from the alienation of movable property - UAH 1 million, and insurance payments - UAH 318,253.

It should be noted that the NACP does not have a declaration of significant changes in property status, which would indicate what exactly he sold, but in the declaration for 2022 he listed a 2021 Audi SQ7.

However, Oleksandr Urbanskyi did file one such declaration. In it, he stated that in 2024 he received UAH 171 thousand as financial assistance from Yevhen Shlyakhov.

It is worth noting that Oleksandr Urbanskyi also received assistance from him in 2022, and in 2023 he still owed this citizen UAH 6.6 million.

His monetary assets include UAH 11.35 million, which he keeps in cash, UAH 1 million 10.5 thousand, which he lent to a third party, and UAH 40 thousand in banks.
