The occupiers hit Odesa with ballistics from the occupied Crimea
On the afternoon of May 28, an explosion was heard in Odesa. At this time, a ballistic threat was declared for the southern regions from the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The explosion was reported by the mayor of Odesa Hennadiy Trukhanov. Details regarding the consequences of the explosion in the regional center are still unknown.
Thus, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned of a ballistic threat to the southern regions of Ukraine from the temporarily occupied Crimea at 16:19. In a matter of minutes the warning was made concrete.
"Odesa - take shelter!" – the Armed Forces of Ukraine were called to the Armed Forces at 16:22.
Trukhanov made a similar reservation.
"Odesa, please stay in safe places! Again, ballistics in the direction of Odesa region!" – he called at 16:21, reminding Odesa residents about the interactive map of shelters in the city.
A minute later, Trukhanov reported that a powerful explosion was heard in Odesa, and at 16:25 he reported repeated launches in the direction of the city.
Details regarding the consequences of the attack are not yet known.
Meanwhile, at 16:48 the threat of ballistics for the Odesa region was lifted.
