An attempt was made in Russia against the collaborator mayor of Kupyansk - DIU

In Russia, unknown persons attempted to assassinate another traitor to Ukraine. This time, it happened to the former mayor of Kupyansk, Hennadiy Matsehora, who cooperated with the occupiers and fled to Russia after the liberation of this city in the Kharkiv region.

The collaborator is in critical condition. This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

"On 7 June 2024, in the city of Staryi Oskol in Russia, an attempt was made on the life of Ukraine’s traitor Hennadii Matsehora, who served as the mayor of Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, from the OPFL party. Matsehora voluntarily cooperated fully with the Russian invaders. In particular, in June 2022, he signed the so-called protocol on the creation of the occupation Kharkiv administration and publicly announced it," the intelligence noted.

"Macehora was well aware that he would have to pay for his actions and betrayal. Therefore, after the liberation of Kupyansk, he quickly fled with the "liberators" to the territory of the Russian Federation and settled in the Belgorod region.

However, the traitor did not find peace. Even the enhanced security that the traitor mayor was assigned to in Russia did not help him.

"For the second day in a row, Moscow doctors have been trying to prevent Matsehora from attending Kobzon’s concert. The condition of the traitor to the Ukrainian people is critical," the DIU said.

The intelligence service has not lifted the veil of secrecy around the exact method by which unknown assassins tried to hand the traitor a "ticket to a Kobzon concert", which, given the state of the gauleiter, he could still use.
