Today, June 11, the application period for hourly shutdown schedules throughout Ukraine has been extended - restrictions will be in effect from 14:00 to 23:00.

The press service of Ukrenergo reports this.

The reason is increased consumption in hot weather and lack of savings.

At the same time, Ukrainian power plants, due to extensive damage, cannot produce as much electricity as before the attacks.

To overcome the deficit in the energy system, imports and emergency assistance from Europe are attracted. But due to the scale of the damage, these measures are not enough to maintain balance in the energy system.
