Ukrainian defenders drove the Russian invaders out of their positions in Klishchiyivka in Donbas and in Serebryanske forestry in Luhansk region. In turn, the occupiers advanced near Kalynivka, Novopokrovske and Yasnobrodivka.

The Deep State analytical channel announced this on June 15. This statement was also confirmed by the deputy commander of the Azov brigade, Hero of Ukraine Svyatoslav “Kalyna” Palamar.

“The occupiers retreated in Serebryanskyi forestry - this is what some media write. You can also write humanly - they lost their positions, or the Defence Forces knocked out the orcs from their positions, if you don’t want to name the unit that was behind this “retreat”,” he noted .

Ponomar also hinted that there will be much more reports about the liberation of Ukrainian territories when the brigade “receives normal weapons.”

Serebryanskyi Forest, which is located almost all the way to Kreminna, on the border with the Kharkiv region, was once a local nature reserve in the Lugansk region. After the occupation of the city by Russian troops in the spring of 2022, the occupiers tried to advance further, in the direction of the Kharkiv region. However, the Defence Forces detained the Russians here.

The 12th Special Purpose Brigade "Azov" is a military formation of the National Guard of Ukraine. The history of the brigade begins in 2014, when the volunteer battalion of the special purpose police patrol service “Azov” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was created. He patrolled in the Azov region, in June he fought and sacked Mariupol, and also took part in the battles near Ilovaisk. In the fall, the battalion was reorganized into a regiment and became part of the National Guard.

Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the regiment became the center of defense of the city of Mariupol and subsequently held the Azovstal plant. In February 2023, the unit was reorganized into the 12th Special Purpose Brigade "Azov".
