Situation at the front: Defence forces repelled 30 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook , publishing operational information as of 19:00 on Wednesday, June 19.

Since the beginning of the day, the number of military clashes along the entire front line has increased to 95.

In the Kharkiv sector, the invaders attacked four times during the day without success in the area of Vovchansk and Liptsy. In the afternoon, Russian terrorists struck civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv and its environs with four multiple rocket launchers.

In the Kupyansk sector, Ukrainian defenders have repelled 10 assault attacks by Russian troops near Synkivka, Novoselivka and Stelmakhivka since the beginning of the day. Two more firefights are currently ongoing there. The Russians attacked Novoosynove with four guided aerial bombs, Kivsharivka with two bombs and the village of Prystin with one.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy also attacked 10 times in the areas of Terny, Makiivka and Hrekivka during the day. One battle is still ongoing. Enemy aircraft attacked Hryhorivka with two anti-aircraft gunships. According to preliminary information, the enemy’s losses in this sector today amounted to 88 militants, two armoured personnel carriers, 75 UAVs and two vehicles.

In the Siversk sector, near Verkhnekamianske and Rozdolivka, the aggressor stormed the positions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces six times. Two attacks were repelled by Ukrainian troops, four more are ongoing. The situation is tense.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the number of enemy attacks increased to 17. The enemy is looking for ways to penetrate Ukrainian defences in the areas of Ivanivske, Novyi, Kalynivka, Pivnichne, Andriivka and Bohdanivka. The defence forces are repelling the invaders with dignity, 13 assaults have been repelled and four more are ongoing. According to preliminary information, the enemy’s losses in this area today amounted to 128 invaders, eight armoured personnel carriers and five vehicles.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the invaders are not slowing down their offensive. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attacked the defensive lines of Ukrainian defenders 36 times. Thirty of the aggressor’s attacks were unsuccessful, and six more hostile attacks are ongoing.

Over the last day, 10 combat engagements took place in the Kurakhove sector. Ukrainian defenders repelled six attacks by the aggressor’s troops, and four more are ongoing. Konstantynivka came under an air strike by CAB.

In other areas, the situation has not undergone significant changes.
