SSU colonel’s relatives own a fleet of vehicles worth $440,000

The journalists found out that relatives of the head of the SSU’s DGID, Colonel Oleksiy Zelenskyy, have seized vehicles worth $440,000 and houses in Koncha Zaspa in recent years.

In particular, it is known that during the full-scale invasion, Colonel Zelenskyy’s father-in-law became the owner of a house of 328.2 square meters.

Zelenskyy himself told reporters that they paid $240 thousand for the house. They bought it together in order to renovate and sell it. Investigators discovered that the advertisement for the sale of this house appeared precisely on the day the official spoke with journalists.

In addition, it is clear from the Google cache that on the same day the Zelenskyy put their house up for sale for 39 million 460 thousand UAH.

According to Zelenskyy, he and his family now live in another house in Koncha-Zaspa.

Journalists also learned that earlier this year the official’s wife became the owner of a 2023 BMW X6 M. In June 2023, Zelenskyy purchased a Mercedes-Benz s 500 (2020), and his mother purchased a Lexus LX 600 (2022) in early 2023.

In addition, the official and his mother bought two BMW motorcycles in 2024, the market value of which is about $20 thousand.

Zelenskyy, in a comment to reporters, replied that he and his relatives are engaged in the resale of cars. Journalists checked this information and found about 20 advertisements for the sale of cars with the official’s number.

As stated in the investigation, Zelenskyy’s relatives have acquired a total of 5 houses in the suburbs of Kyiv in recent years, and sold some of them. Serhiy Mitkalik, chairman of the board of the Anti-Corruption Headquarters NGO, sees in the collected facts signs of an official’s business activities prohibited by law.
