The ministry noted that Russian terrorists continue to fire from their territory at the border of Sumy and Chernihiv regions. In particular, the areas of Chernatske (from the direction of Zernove (Russia)), Mykhalchyna Sloboda (from the direction of Pohar (Russia)), Karpovychi, Hremyachka and Yunakivka were hit.

The situation on the fronts

According to the General Staff, within a day the number of military operations along the entire front line increased to 66. More than a third of the fighting took place in the Pokrovsk direction.

In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy conducted few attacks - only three. He unsuccessfully stormed near Vovchansk and Hlyboke. Instead, the terrorists continue to actively fire from Russian territory at Ukrainian villages and towns. In particular, four airstrikes were launched from Belgorod near Liptsy, four bombs exploded near Vovchanske Khutory, and Vovchansk was hit by two airstrikes with six UAVs from the direction of Shebekino (Russia). In addition, the enemy bombed Starytsia and Hlyboke, and attacked Vetarine with unguided aerial missiles from helicopters.

In the Kupyansk sector, three enemy attacks were successfully repelled by Ukrainian forces near Pishchane and Stelmakhivka. Sixteen Russian unmanned aerial vehicles were fired at the Petropavlivka area.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy stormed Ukrainian positions four times in the areas of Hrekivka and Makiivka. Near the latter, they acted with the support of army aviation, firing 20 NARs. The occupiers also fired uncontrolled aerial missiles at Serebryansky forest.

The Russian invaders are continuing their attempts to push through Ukrainian defences in the Siversk sector. Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian troops have repelled six attacks here. Two more firefights are taking place in the areas of Spirne and Rozdolivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, there have been five combat engagements since the beginning of the day. The enemy made unsuccessful attacks near Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske and Andriivka.

Russian occupants are currently conducting two attacks in the Pokrovsk sector. In total, there have been 24 attacks since the beginning of the day. The enemy is putting almost all its efforts in the areas of Novooleksandrivka and Progress, where a total of 19 combat engagements were recorded. Fighting also took place near Vozdvyzhenka, Yasnobrodivka and Novoselivka Persha. At the same time, the occupiers bombed Ivanivka and Lysychne with three UAVs. Russian aircraft fired three times at the area of Oleksandropol with unguided missiles.

In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces neutralised two attacks near Krasnohorivka and Paraskoviivka.

In the Vremivsk sector, the enemy attacked twice near Kostiantynivka and Vodiane. He launched three attacks with guided aerial bombs in the area of Velyka Novosilka. Ukrainian troops repelled all the enemy’s attempts to advance.

In the Dnipro sector, on the left bank of the Dnipro, the Russian aggressor is trying to continue active operations near Krynky. Since the beginning of the day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have repelled two enemy assaults. The invaders dropped four aerial bombs near Lvov.

In other directions the situation has not changed significantly.
