Ukrainian Armed Forces showed how a Russian Su-25 was shot down in the Pokrovsk direction

Ukrainian Armed Forces are publishing a video of today’s downing of a Russian Su-25 in the Pokrovsk direction.

Judging by the footage, it flew very close to Ukrainian positions and was shot down by a MANPADS.

Russian planes rarely practice such close approaches. Most often, they drop CABs from a distance of tens of kilometers from the front line.

Russian military publics confirm the downing of the plane. They write that the pilot managed to eject and was evacuated.
