State Border Service of Ukraine commented on the situation on the border with Belarus

The situation on the border with the Republic of Belarus remains stable, but this direction continues to cause concern. There are no observations of an increase in the number of military equipment or personnel of the Belarusian armed forces on the territory of the Republic of Belarus near the border with Ukraine.

This was reported by the representative of the State Border Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko in a comment for the Ukrainian media. He noted that the Ukrainian border guards did not record any changes on the Belarusian side and emphasized that the Lukashenko regime continues to act in the interests of Russia.

According to Demchenko, there is no increase in the number of troops from Belarus on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border. Lukashenko’s statements are due to his desire to please the Kremlin.

He stressed that Ukraine does not pose a threat to Belarus , but as long as the Security Council is under the influence of the Russian Federation, this direction will remain threatening, so it is given due attention.

"What and how is happening on the other side of the border is, of course, also monitored by intelligence units. Our forces are ready to respond to any changes in the situation. At the same time, we hope for the common sense of the Belarusian side, which must stop playing along with Russia and not fulfill the wishes of the Kremlin," Demchenko noted.

"The situation on the border with the Republic of Belarus remains stable. It is constantly monitored by all units of the Defence Forces of our country," the speaker said.
