We are gradually liberating the Kharkiv region from Russian troops, - Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an evening video address that the Armed Forces are gradually pushing Russian troops out of the Kharkiv region.

Zelenskyy stated this in a video address

"I spoke with Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi about the fighting in the Kharkiv region. We are squeezing out the Russian army. Gradually. The occupier will not conquer Kharkiv, nor will he conquer our entire Ukraine."

The President recalled that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had managed to repel an attempt by Russian invaders to attack Kharkiv since the beginning of May. Zelenskyy called Kharkiv "a heroic city, a city of people and life."
