In Lutsk, an unknown person opened fire on soldiers at a post: there is one wounded

On the night of August 26-27, an unknown person opened fire on servicemen at a checkpoint in Lutsk. Law enforcement officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

This was reported by the Volyn region police. After the crime, the criminal fled. It is known that one of the TRC workers was injured.

Based on the fact of the attempt on the life of a military man, investigators initiated criminal proceedings in accordance with Article 348 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

An unknown person opened fire from an unidentified weapon at the servicemen who were guarding the facility at the post. The servicemen responded by opening fire.

"One serviceman was wounded and taken to hospital. After the shooting, the unknown person fled. A special police operation was launched and the search for the criminal continues," the law enforcement agency said in a statement.
