The head of state announced this information in an evening video address .

"There was a report from the commander-in-chief. Pokrovsk and other areas in the Donetsk region," he noted.

According to him, Russia’s main efforts and greatest forces are concentrated there; the stability of each unit of the Defence Forces and the ability to destroy the occupier are very important.

Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to every soldier and every commander holding positions.

"The commander-in-chief also reported on the operation in the Kursk region. We continue to expand the territory of our control in certain areas near the borders of Ukraine," the head of state emphasized.

He also added that today, as every day, the exchange fund is being replenished, “this will help bring home many of our people from Russian captivity.”

“We must understand that all the tension that we have transferred to Russia means that they cannot put even more pressure on our Donbas,” the president noted.
